DESCRIPTION:
This
outstanding Limoges box represents the famous VENUS DE MILO
STATUE resting on a marble stand. Inside is the
inscription VENUS DE MILO. This
handsome Limoges box is artfully and colorfully hand-painted
with great detail and has been fired numerous times to achieve
its brilliant colors. The box is adorned with intricate
metalwork and an ANCIENT GREEK STATUE HEAD clasp. This Limoges porcelain box is
meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the
insignia of the artist.
