DESCRIPTION:
This
magnificent, large Limoges box depicts Jesus' LAST SUPPER with
the twelve disciples. Inside, is a painting of TWO HANDS
OFFERING the BREAD AND WINE SACRAMENTS. This
handsome Limoges box is masterfully hand-painted with great
detailing and has been fired numerous times to achieve its
brilliant colors. The box is adorned with intricate
metalwork and an ornate clasp in the shape of a LOAF OF
BREAD and a CLUSTER OF GRAPES. This Limoges porcelain box is
meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears
the insignia of the artist.
