Wise Men Bearing Gifts for the Newborn King!  This magnificent and highly-detailed Limoges box represents an open book with an illustration of the NATIVITY SCENE with MAGI bringing gifts.  A porcelain BABY JESUS IN THE MANGER rests upon the open book.  Inside, is a painting of the GIFTS OF THE MAGI; Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.  The Limoges box is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with great detail and generous use of 24K Gold accents and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors.  The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp. This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the insignia of the artist.
