Double-Hinged Perfume Globe on Stand (Retired)

This magnificent and unusual Limoges box is in the shape of a GLOBE PERFUME CHEST with a French Crystal jeweled perfume bottle inside.  The Globe rests upon a detailed brass stand and is beautifully hand-painted with flowers and 24K Gold embellishments.   When opened, the Limoges box reveals the first tier, showing a circular flower design, with the top of the jeweled perfume bottle in the center.  The interior tier opens to reveal the Perfume Bottle inside.  This exquisite Limoges box is artfully and colorfully hand-painted with great detailing and has been fired numerous times to achieve its brilliant colors.  The box is adorned with intricate metalwork and an ornate HEART & FLOWERS clasp. This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the insignia of the artist.
