DESCRIPTION:
This magnificent Limoges box
represents a FORTIFIED MEDIEVAL VILLAGE with numerous highly
detailed buildings. The Limoges has 3 hinges on
top and one at the base. Inside is a very detailed
hand-painted KNIGHT ON A HORSE WITH A CASTLE BEHIND HIM as
well as CASTLE KEYS. This
outstanding Chrome covered Limoges is artfully and colorfully hand-painted
and hand-decorated and has been fired numerous times to
achieve its brilliant colors. The box is adorned with
intricate metalwork and an ornate clasp in the shape of a
CROWN. This Limoges porcelain box is meticulously
crafted entirely in Limoges, France and bears the insignia
of the artist.
